I always hear, "Wow, I didn't know you could nurse twins!"
Just in case anyone was wondering, it is possible! If someone stumbles across this post, expecting twins and hoping to nurse, just know that it can be done.
Here's a great twin breastfeeding image gallery for ideas (I submitted a couple of the pics):
http://www.naturallyparentingtwins.com/drupal/image/tid/22There's also some breastfeeding information at that site. (As a side note, I contributed almost all their articles on pregnancy and birth! Other than this group, that's my other crew of online homies!)
Also, Karen Gromada (a fabulous woman, RN, LLL leader, IBCLC, and acquaintance of mine who was in
my twin birth video for YouTube) wrote a book for LLL called Mothering Multiples with a TON of great information on breastfeeding and attachment parenting. Her web site,
www.karengromada.com , is also a great resource.
And Cindy Carter, my childbirth/breastfeeding advocacy prayer partner, has written several articles on the subject you can find online by googling her name (she is an RN and IBCLC).
And, of course, if there are any moms locally wanting more information, or just encouragement, for nursing multiples, I'd be happy to help in any way I can.
Just wanted to put a few of those resources together for any moms who come across the site who wonder about nursing 2 or more.

Feel free to add any tandem nursing resources to this thread!
ETA: Duh! This probably should have gone under tips.
